'in sure you've heard by now that entorceinent legislation for west Virginia became law last legislative session and goes

into effect on Inn: 7, 2018. A lot uf people were involved in the craiting the bill and getting it passed was a very big

aeeomplishment.

A result of getting it passed is explaining, edueating and updating all toi-ins uf advertising to get the word out about the
changes. while that means it will be a very exciting year, it also translates to a very busy time for all of us win confident I'll
see many ui you somewhere along the road soon.

Ynu’ll be seeing updated billboards aeross the state soon and we'll unlize social media to promote the changes to our
excavators and cuntmclozs.
west Virginia 811 will be involved in association meetings as well as other public meetings to remind stakeholders ui the
impact ui the new law. whether you locate, excavate or own/operate underground tacilities, you will be interested in what
the ehanges are and how they'll irnpaet your day to day operations. It sounds busy but we've got the team to get it done
No doubt about it, this coming year is about the new law and always about safety so, on that note, it's all about satetyl
